By Joyce Landers, United Thank Offering Board Vice President
This January we will offer our final webinar for the 2022 grant cycle. This is an open Q&A session where you can ask about any part of the UTO grant application process. There will not be a presentation and we will stay on until everyone has their questions answered. We hope you’ll join us at either noon or 7 p.m. Eastern time on Jan. 11..
Due to Zoom security issues, you must register to attend. Links to register can be found on the “helpful hints” page which has been published with the application materials. All materials can be found on the UTO website at or the UTO blog site.
In addition to the webinar, we are happy to provide grant application feedback. You can send your application to our UTO staff officer, the Rev. Canon Heather Melton, for an editorial review. She is willing to look at your application, or a portion of your application, up to five times. Please be aware of the following deadlines:
Dec. 1: Last day to submit Anglican Communion grants for review and assistance.
Jan. 14: Last day to receive a review of draft applications.
Jan. 26: Last day to receive a review of the budget.
Feb. 2: Last day to receive a review for completeness.
Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. Eastern: Applications are due.
We encourage you to submit applications as early as possible. This request applies to grant writers as well as diocesan office staff. Every year we receive incomplete applications at the deadline that could have been fixed. We understand how devasting this can be for those who have put so much work into preparing an application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email our UTO staff officer.
Thank you all for your continued support of UTO through your personal thank offerings. Remember that 100% of all Ingathering funds goes toward funding worthy projects, like yours, throughout the church.
