Hybrid Gratitude Conference with the Diocese of Massachusetts

By the Rev. Rowan Larson, Province I representative to the UTO Board

On Oct. 16 from 4:30-6:45 p.m. Eastern, the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston is hosting a Multicultural Celebration of Gratitude. This event will kick off a “Year of Gratitude” in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, leading up to the 2022 UTO Gratitude Scholars Conference. Join friends from near and far to celebrate God’s gift of gratitude through worship, music, prayers, and sharing stories. All are welcome to join this event, especially if you are interested in hosting a similar event in your community.

While this event will honor UTO grant recipients in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts (ProGente Connections, St. Stephen’s Youth Programs, and the MANNA congregation of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul), we think that worship and sharing stories about gratitude can cross diocesan lines!

At this time, this event will be hybrid — both in-person and online — but that may change before Oct. 16. Registration is open!

All proceeds from this event will be donated to UTO to be redistributed as part of next year’s grant awards.
