As VP for grants, and chair of the Grants Committee, I am excited to see what kind of innovative mission and ministry projects will be submitted to UTO this year. We are extending our dual-deadline system to all applications this year, not just those from the Anglican Communion. What this means is that your grant application is due by 5 p.m. (Eastern) on Friday, Jan. 10. Your application needs to be as complete as possible so that we can best assist you, with at least a completed application form, timeline, and budget. We cannot accept partially filled-out applications without the budget and timeline as a placeholder for a full application to be submitted by the February deadline (Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. Eastern). 

No new applications will be accepted after Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. Eastern. The second deadline is to ensure that each application has been reviewed for completeness and is ready to go to the Grants Committee for evaluation. It will help ensure that the committee won’t need to exclude your grant from consideration for something easily fixed in review, for example, the budget not adding up to the total amount requested. After review, you have until Friday, Feb. 7, at 5 p.m. Eastern to make all necessary corrections and additions to your application package. No changes or additions will be accepted after this date.
