For 500 years, the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola have been transforming people’s lives by opening their eyes to God’s gifts and encouraging them to respond in gratitude. Now you have the opportunity to embark on the same journey by learning some of the basic techniques of Ignatian spirituality, from the famous “Examination of Conscience” to immersive, imaginative methods of reading the Bible. All along the way, you’ll be learning how these practices can deepen your gratitude – and how that gratitude can enrich your entire spiritual life. Whether you’ve read and loved The Jesuit Guide to Almost Everything or you are just hungry for new ways to connect with God, this series is for you!

The Rev. Ben Wyatt is a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis, where he works with congregations to assess and improve their spiritual, financial, and ministerial vitality. He is a graduate of Yale Divinity School, where he earned an M.Div. and an S.T.M. focused on spirituality and contemporary theology. He has been an ardent practitioner of Ignatian spirituality since discovering it in seminary, and he completed the 19th annotation of the Spiritual Exercises during his study. He is also the History and Theology Editor for Earth & Altar, an online magazine dedicated to promoting inclusive orthodoxy. In his spare time, he is an amateur dessert maker, gamer, and swimmer.
