2022 UTO Training Days
By Sherri Dietrich, President of the United Thank Offering Board
With the changing landscape of gathering due to COVID-19, the UTO Board was able to think about better ways we could engage and support UTO coordinators through virtual trainings. We’ve created a training day in Spanish, geared toward our Spanish-speaking diocesan coordinators, and a two-day training in English geared toward our members and leaders, with breakout time for those leading UTO in parishes or dioceses. While the structure of each training is quite different, the content will be similar but focused on the realities that each group works within.
Saturday, July 9, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Eastern, and Sunday, July 10, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. ET

If you register prior to June 19, you will receive your UTO swag mailing in time for the meeting, filled with UTO giveaway items, materials, and surprises. After June 19, it will sent be sent but might not arrive in time for training day.

We know this is a long time to be on Zoom, so we’ve included breaks throughout the day. Each break will begin with a new UTO video. During breaks we will leave the space open for people to interact and will have trivia on screen (like when you’re waiting on a movie to start). The break will end with a raffle drawing for a prize.
Each workshop will include a presentation addressing the topic (which will be recorded and available for viewing from our website at a later time); then participants will go into breakout rooms for members and parish coordinators or diocesan coordinators to discuss the topic as it relates specifically to their work. There will also be time for Q&A in each breakout room. You may register for one or all of the events, and may come and go for the events that interest you. We look forward to seeing you then and talking about all things UTO.
