On Thursday, March 29, Thursdays at 2, a favorite and popular feature produced by the Office of Communications, presents The Baptism Ceremony at Church on the Square in Baltimore, MD (Diocese of Maryland).
In this final of the three-part series, the Rev. Jim Hamilton describes the importance of baptism in the context of a congregation: as a way of reaching back and forward in time and space with the communion of saints, as a way of celebrating the gift of a child to the Gregory family and their community, and above all, as a commitment to the way of Jesus.
The Baptism Ceremony video is available here.
Thursdays at 2 is a weekly preview of Episcopal Church innovative ministries. Every Thursday at 2 pm Eastern, a new video illustrating the work of congregations and individuals will be posted on the Episcopal Church’s Facebook page here and YouTube Channel here.
Produced by the Episcopal Church Office of Communications, for more information contact Mike Collins, Episcopal Church Manager of Multimedia.
