Surgery update on Presiding Bishop Michael Curry
Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Michael Curry underwent a scheduled surgery today to remove his right adrenal gland and an attached mass, which was identified as the source of two prior instances of internal bleeding.
He is now out of surgery and resting, and he will be in the intensive care unit of the hospital for about 24 hours. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
