St. Bartholomew’s Lessons and Carols now available on Episcopal Church Advent multimedia programming

Lessons and Carols from St. Bartholomew”s in New York City has been added to the 2009 Advent multimedia programming, presented by The Episcopal Church Office of Communication.

Part of the full month of Advent observations and traditional liturgies, the St. Bartholomew”s Lessons and Carols joins the other offerings currently available: the Advent Reflection by Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori and the Lessons and Carols from Saint Thomas Church.

“We are honored to provide a means for people of all ages and in all places to participate in Advent reflections and services,” commented Mike Collins, director of digital media. “Since the multimedia Advent offerings debuted on December 7, the first two videos have tallied almost 3,200 plays.”

The multimedia offerings will be available 24 hours a day, and will remain available throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons.
