The youth and adult members of the 2014 Episcopal Youth Event Mission Planning Team have been announced.

Drawing hundreds of youth from throughout the Episcopal Church, EYE 2014 will be held in July 9-13, 2014 in the Philadelphia area, in partnership with the Diocese of Pennsylvania.

The 2014 event marks the twelfth EYE and remains a popular and well-attended event. EYE 2014 is geared for youth in grades 9-12 during the 2013-2014 academic year and their adult leaders.

“More than 70 youth and over 25 adults took the faithful and vulnerable step to offer themselves for this service,” Bronwyn Clark Skov, Episcopal Church Youth Ministries Officer, noted. “The discernment was difficult and rich and called the Youth Ministry Council to dig deep and pray faithfully. It is our belief that this team represents a depth of leadership that the event requires, as well as the diversity of the church that Jesus calls us to embrace as leaders.”
