MEDIA ADVISORY: What to know for the investiture of Presiding Bishop-elect Sean Rowe

The Office of Public Affairs invites media to be aware of the following details regarding the Nov. 2 investiture service of Presiding Bishop-elect Sean Rowe:

  • There is no in-person media credentialing; participation in the event churchwide is virtual. (See event FAQs to learn about limited in-person attendance.)
  • Media kit: A media kit that includes Bishop Rowe’s biography, headshot, sermons, articles, and more is available on the event webpage.
  • Service recording: A recording of the service inside the Chapel of Christ the Lord in The Episcopal Church Center in New York City will be posted after the event and shared churchwide, as will a transcript of Bishop Rowe’s sermon.
     
  • Worship service booklet: Media may request an embargoed advance copy of the worship service booklet, which will be available online the morning of Nov. 2 for all participants. Email info@episcopalchurch.org.
  • Read past press releases about Bishop Rowe’s election and investiture.
