Two new “Way of Love” resources—a set of kids’ playing cards and Season 2 of a popular video series—invite Episcopalians of every age to deepen their spiritual practice and follow in Jesus’ footsteps.

Created by The Episcopal Church Office of Evangelism, the “BIG Way of Love for Kids” features a colorful set of cards and activities that guide children to pray, play, and learn about the Way of Love practices (turn, learn, pray, worship, bless, go, and rest). The deck of 76 cards—which can be ordered from Forward Movement or downloaded and printed free—are supplemented by seven audio recordings of Bible stories and a “Grown-ups Guide to the BIG Way of Love for Kids.”

Available in English, Spanish, and French, this resource is designed for kids to explore faith on their own or with friends, church teachers, or family, wherever they go.

Coming soon, “Traveling the Way of Love” Season 2 offers video stories of the ways people across The Episcopal Church participate in the seven Way of Love practices. Produced by the Office of Communication in partnership with Evangelism colleagues, it includes study guides to help congregations or small groups engage the stories and strengthen one another’s discipleship.

Available in English, French, and Spanish, the series of seven videos includes visits to the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry in North Carolina to hear how neighbors are being blessed; the Rev. Christian Barron of the Order of Naucratius, a ministry around fishing on Lake Michigan that embodies the practice of “go”; and the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, where youth member Aja Rios shares about the importance of forming lives around Scripture.
