Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop’s Advent message: slow down as “we wait for the Prince of Peace.”

“As we gather and prepare for Advent and for the birth of Christ, I would invite you to slow down… and consider how your prayer life might change this year,” Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori noted in her Advent message for 2010.

In Advent, she said, “We wait for the Prince of Peace.”

The Presiding Bishop”s video Advent message, taped in a New York City park, is available on the home page of The Episcopal Church website: http://www.episcopalchurch.org/index.htm
