The Episcopal Church Office of Communication continues offering a live webcast of musical selections from the First Wednesdays At St. Johnâs Concerts series originating from St. Johnâs Church, Lafayette Square, in Washington, DC (Diocese of Washington). The next live concert is on Wednesday, May 4 and begins at 12:10 pm Eastern (11:10 am Central, 10:10 am Mountain, 9:10 am Pacific, 8:10 am Alaska, 7:10 am Hawaii).
The 35-minute concert is âStained Glass Windows,â featuring selections from Petr Ebenâs Windows after Marc Chagall, and other works. Featured musician is Mary Bowden, trumpet.
