The job posting states that the Liaison Officer for International Relations is âthe bridge for communications among international partners, dioceses, bishops and international bodies.â Among the responsibilities are: liaison to Anglican Communion networks; representing the Episcopal Church at the United Nations; partnership officer for the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East; work with the Office of the Presiding Bishop on Anglican Communion relations including serving as her representative to the office of the Anglican Observer to the United Nations; connect with the Episcopal Church Washington, D.C.-based Peace and Justice team; and maintain relations with churchwide, ecumenical and interfaith peace and justice organizations.
A member of the Episcopal Church Mission Department Global Partnerships Team, this position reports to the co-directors for mission.
