Applications for media credentials now available for Episcopal Church General Convention 2012

The Episcopal Church’s 77th General Convention 2012 will be held July 5 through July 12 at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, IN.

Applications for credentials for media representatives requesting to cover the General Convention 2012 of the Episcopal Church are available here:  http://www.episcopalchurch.org/form/general-convention-2015-media-application

Two types of credentials are available: Onsite, for those who will be attending; and Offsite, designed to provide access to media representatives unable to attend GC12.

Deputies/alternates and vendors/exhibitors to GC12 will not be granted media credentials.

Credentials will be available beginning at 11 am on July 3 in the Media Room of the Indiana Convention Center.

General Convention, held every three years, is the bicameral governing body of the church. General Convention is composed of the House of Bishops, with upwards of 200 members, and the House of Deputies, with clergy and lay representatives from the 110 dioceses, at over 850 members.
