World Mission Sunday

Partnering with God’s world to share the love of Jesus

The last Sunday in Epiphany of each year is designated as World Mission Sunday – a time when the church comes together to focus on the global impact of our call to “seek and serve Christ in all persons” (Baptismal Covenant, Book of Common Prayer, p. 305). All parishes and dioceses are invited to join by including the following yearly resources as part of their Bible studies and services for that week.

World Mission Sunday 2026

World Mission Sunday will be celebrated this year on Feb. 15. This year, the Office of Global Partnerships, in collaboration with the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona and Sermons That Work, has prepared this sermon from Bishop Jennifer Reddall. You can also read and share the written version of the sermon in English, Spanish, and French below.
