Grants and Scholarships

Creation Care Grants

As The Episcopal Church shifts its creation care resources to better support local, contextual efforts, applicants are invited to submit grant proposals for nature restoration, regenerative agriculture, climate advocacy, and environmental justice projects that will be evaluated and awarded by the church’s new eco-region networks. The deadline to apply online is Oct. 20, 2026.

United Thank Offering Grants

The United Thank Offering (UTO) Board is now accepting applications for 2027 UTO grants, with a focus on projects that seek to connect churches, dioceses, and provinces with the unique needs of their local communities. The 2027 grant focus highlights the idea that “we” are “the gifts of God for the people of God,” as noted in the Book of Common Prayer—as well as incorporating the concept of a “gift economy” discussed in Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book, “The Serviceberry.” Final deadline for completed applications is Feb. 5.

Scholarships

The Episcopal Church offers annual educational scholarships for students of African, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian and Pacific Islander descent. All applicants must be Episcopalians.
