Conscientious Objector Registry
The Church stands with its members as they make decisions in this area of their lives, providing pastoral support to Conscientious Participants, Selective Conscientious Objectors, Conscientious Objectors, and Conscientious Resisters. The decision to participate or not to participate in the armed forces and in any particular war situation that may occur while they are in the armed forces has consequences for the rest of a person’s life.
The Conscientious Objector Packet is addressed to Episcopalians so that they may think responsibly about this decision and to consider carefully their loyalties to God and country.
