Hymnal Studies

A series of studies published by the Church Hymnal Corporation (now Church Publishing Incorporated), to assist clergy and laity in using The Hymnal 1982. The volumes are: Hymnal Studies One: Perspectives on the New Edition (1981); Hymnal Studies Two: Introducing The Hymnal 1982 (1982); Marilyn J. Keiser, Hymnal Studies Three: Teaching Music in the Small Church (1983); John Fesperman, Hymnal Studies Four: Organ Planning: Asking the Right Questions (1984); Marion J. Hatchett, Hymnal Studies Five: A Liturgical Index to The Hymnal 1982 (1986); Ray F. Glover, Hymnal Studies Six: A Commentary on New Hymns (1987); Dennis Schmidt, Hymnal Studies Seven: An Organist's Guide to Resources for The Hymnal 1982 (1987); and Marion J. Hatchett, Hymnal Studies Eight: A Scriptural Index to The Hymnal 1982 (1988).
