Nils Chittenden

Biography

The Rev. Nils Chittenden was born and raised in southeast England. After studying theology as an undergraduate at the Durham University, England, he attended seminary in Cambridge, England, and was ordained in 1995. He's worked as an associate rector, and in chaplaincy in workplaces, healthcare and universities. Between 2001 and 2008 he was head of a UK-wide non-profit which promoted and supported church-related community organizing. He has a Master's degree in Politics and Social Policy. He moved to the US in 2010 as Young Adult Missioner for the Diocese of North Carolina and Episcopal campus minister at Duke University. He is married to Kelly, and they have three cats.
