Support Comprehensive Immigration Reform
As we mark World Refugee Day, we remember the plight of 12 million refugees and millions of others who have fled their homes and been involuntarily displaced throughout the world. Senators McCain and Kennedy along with Representatives Kolbe, Flake, and Gutierrez recently introduced the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act of 2005 â a bipartisan bill designed to reform the United States immigration system. The bill acknowledges the benefits brought to the United States by immigrants who are allowed to enter legally and accept employment. The bill also supports family unity, allows immigrant workers to access permanent residence and citizenship, and protects their rights as workers.
