As part of its support for the Episcopal Churchâs continuing âcommitment to address violence in every sector of society,â (GC 1991-C022) and âto oppose violence and the means by which violence is perpetrated in all areas of our common life,â (GC 1994-D005), the Episcopal Peace Fellowship is sponsoring a retreat, âFrom Violence to Wholeness,âApril 2nd- 4th at the DuBose Conference Center, Monteagle, TN 37356.
The retreat will focus on :
Â· Understanding all forms of violence both within and outside yourself
Â· Discovering Active Transformative Nonviolence and Peace as an ongoing process/practice
Â· Learning how to create a community that will reinforce nonviolent principles
