SOUTHERN AFRICA: Archbishop Thabo Makgoba attends World Economic Forum as discussion leader

Archbishop Thabo Makgoba of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa is attending the World Economic Forum in Switzerland Jan. 27-31 as an invited participant and will serve as a discussion leader for several of the sessions. The 40th anniversary of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is a defining moment for world leaders as they meet under the theme "Improve the State of the World: Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild." During five days filled with hundreds of working sessions, Makgoba will be joining about 2,500 leaders from more than 90 countries representing business, government, civil society, faith communities, academia and culture working together to address pressing challenges and future risks.
