Bishop Charles Jenkins of Louisiana led a team, which included Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold, into New Orleans September 20 to visit Episcopal churches previously inaccessible due to the city's flooding.
In an interview with Episcopal News Service, Jenkins speaks about his own responsibility in helping to rebuild New Orleans and asks for people's prayers, patience and continuing gifts as the diocese continues to respond to the aftereffects of Hurricane Katrina.
