St. Mark's Access Plus Ministry Continues to Build Ramps for Those in Need
On September 19, volunteers from St. Mark's, Corpus Christi, built an access ramp for Santos. St. Mark’s established Access Plus in 2001 with a goal of making homes accessible to the residents of Corpus Christi through the building of ramps or minor home modifications. All work is completed with volunteer man power and money designated in the outreach account. Approximately one ramp is built each month, usually on a Saturday. The ramps take about 3-4 hours to complete, and the average cost is $500. Over the past 14 years, St. Mark’s has completed 175+ ramps.
