Nina Vest Salmon


Nina Vest Salmon teaches English at Lynchburg College, a liberal arts college in Virginia, and serves as the faculty advisor to the campus Canterbury Club. She is also a student at Virginia Tech, in the fourth year of a PhD in Social, Political, Ethical, and Cultural Thought, where she studies minority responses to oppression. In the wider church, Salmon is a deputy to General Convention and has served on the Social and Urban Affairs Committee. She currently serves on the State of the Church Committee and the Joint Nominating Committee for the Election of the Presiding Bishop. Nina's husband, Jerry, teaches AP US History at E.C. Glass High School. They have three large sons and two large poodles.
