Speakers:

• Jackson Sayama, Hawaii State Representative, is a young Japanese-American and a member of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church. He will speak to us at the Japanese Cultural Center, host a lunch on the rooftop garden, and has arranged a tea ceremony with a tea master.
• Kyoko Toyama, JCON co-convener, Metropolitan Japanese Ministry, New York, Congregation of St. Saviour at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
• The Rev. Dr. Malcolm Keleawe Hee, JCON coconvener, vicar of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, Honolulu, Hawaii.
• Dr Gayle Kawahara, JCON treasurer and member of Sei Ko Kai, San Francisco, California

Worship at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, the only historical Japanese Episcopal Church in Hawaii, Hawaiian style lunch, connecting with members and sharing about your own churches. Dinner on your own.

Monday, July 8, 2024
Mahjong and hanafuda with community members! Bento lunch and business meeting at Good Sam. Dinner on your own.

Tuesday, July 9, 2024
Japanese Cultural Center, local Japanese community leader – Hawaii State Representative Jackson Sayama, tea ceremony at rooftop garden. Japanese lunch. Dinner provided.

Wednesday, July 10, 2024
Breakfast and closing meeting discussing next year’s destination. Checkout at 11:00 am. Sightseeing options with local participants. Transportation to airport.
