Frederick Quinn


The Rev. Frederick Quinn, priest and retired senior Foreign Service Officer, lived for several years in Africa as an American diplomat. He holds a doctorate in history from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he was a visiting scholar at the African Studies Center. His books include, "Saints, Martyrs, and Holy People From the Continent of Africa" (Crossroads, 2002) and "In Search of Salt, Changes in Beti (Cameroon) Society, 1800-1960" (Berghahn Books, 2006).
