As we mark the three-year anniversary of Sacred Ground (described as “a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith”), we celebrate its success and the expansion of its license agreements to include communities outside The Episcopal Church. When Sacred Ground began in 2019, its three-year license agreements for curricular materials specified that an Episcopal institution needed to be the lead host for each Sacred Ground circle.
Now, not only has the curriculum been renewed for another three years, members of other denominations and religious traditions are licensed to use the materials. Local faith-based institutions (such as congregations) are invited to form circles. Larger regional and national religious entities are asked to reach out to sacredground@episcopalchurch.org to discuss options.
