We in the Episcopal Church join with our ecumenical partners around the world in condemning the attack on the Bir al Abd Mosque in the Sinai region this past Friday. We join our prayers with all those around the world in deep sorrow and grief at this violence. The statement and letter of condolence to the Grand Imam sent from the World Council of Churches, of which the Episcopal Church is a member can be found here:
