The 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women took place from March 6-17. The priority theme this year was: “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.”
In February, the Episcopal Church announced its delegates to this year’s Commission. According to the Press Release: “Returning in person for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020, The Episcopal Church and Anglican partners will advocate for global issues that impact women and girls in all their diversity at the 67th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) in New York City, March 6-17.”
