The World Council of Churches’ 11th Assembly will be held in Karlsruhe, Germany, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 8, 2022. The assembly’s theme is “Christ’s love moves the world to reconciliation and unity.” Meeting once every eight years, the WCC Assembly is a hallmark event in global ecumenism, bringing in over 4,000 participants.
