Episcopal Church Chief Operating Officer Geoffrey Smith to retire
Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Michael Curry has announced the upcoming retirement of the Rev. Deacon Geoffrey Smith, who has served as the church’s chief operating officer and a member of Curry’s staff since January 2017. Smith’s last day will be Jan. 1, 2023.
