The BLESS Annual Appeal supports the dedicated young people and programs that boldly proclaim the loving, liberating, and life-giving message of Jesus Christ through the Young Adult Service Corps. YASC is a ministry for Episcopalians ages 21-30 who are interested in exploring their faith in new ways by living and serving in communities around the world. These young people work to promote understanding and foster respect among people of all faiths—a worthy mission so needed in today’s world. Learn more about the Youth Adult Service Corps here.
Your gift to the BLESS Annual Appeal helps ensure that YASC has the resources to play a key role in carrying out the mission of The Episcopal Church, as well as bringing the experiences and values of our faith into the lives, parishes, and communities throughout the Anglican Communion.
Loving - We are called to share Christ’s love, and the YASC spreads this love throughout the world in the spirit of service, understanding and sharing.
Liberating - Serving abroad as a Young Adult Service Corps missionary is more than a job for these devout and driven young people, it’s a journey of discovering self, faith and the Anglican Communion.
Life-Giving - No matter where we are in the world—from rural Philippines to central London—YASC is about serving others and fostering respect among people of all faiths. “Each of you should use whatever gifts you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
