82nd General Convention: July 3-8, 2027
Every three years, The Episcopal Church gathers in a legislative capacity known as General Convention. This multiday convention is also an opportunity for Episcopalians to come together for learning, networking, worship, and collaboration across dioceses. Our next General Convention will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, in summer 2027.

Election Engagement
We recognize election engagement as an act of Christian stewardship and a tangible way to love our neighbors. Learn about specific ways you and your congregation can get involved in the election process, as well as what The Episcopal Church has officially said in voting-related resolutions.

Join Election Night Compline
8 p.m. ET Nov. 3
As polling places close on the East Coast on Nov. 3, all are welcome to join a prayerful service of compline, hosted online by the church’s Division of Public Policy, Partnership, and Witness. Spanish interpretation will be available.

Advent and Christmas Resources
Advent, the first season of the year, begins four Sundays before Christmas and continues through Dec. 24. Advent is considered a time of preparation, hope, and expectation, as the church awaits both Christ’s earthly birth as the baby born in Bethlehem and his final coming “in power and glory,” as we confess in reciting the Nicene Creed.
