Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts Hosts Dinner for the International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue
The International Commission for the Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue met in Boston, Massachusetts, from Oct. 6 to 11 to discuss the topic of Christian witness in a suffering world. According to the Anglican Communion News Service, “The dialogue was hosted by the Huffington Ecumenical Institute, at Hellenic College Holy Cross, at the invitation of Archbishop Elpidophoros of America,” and the event also “marked 50 years of the dialogue.”
The Episcopal Bishop of Massachusetts invited commission members to a dinner Oct. 5 at All Saints Church. Salmoon Bashir represented The Episcopal Church’s Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations. “The dinner was about relationship-building as we asked ourselves how we can be better Christian witnesses in each of our contexts,” Bashir said.
