Evangelism Huddle

This month, we are pleased to welcome Troy Mendez, executive director of the Episcopal Evangelism Society, as our huddle mentor.
He will guide us in thinking together about “Audience, mission field, community, or people? Changing focus in the efforts of evangelism.”
The Episcopal Church continues to promote evangelism in traditional ways, but also in ways that are ever-evolving, fundamentally changing how the church looks at the whole concept of evangelism and what it actually is. The Episcopal Evangelism Society invites discernment around the way the church designs and conceives of our evangelistic efforts. If we realign our efforts in ways that align with Jesus’ dream of creating the beloved community he calls the Kingdom of God, then our approach and our expectations change in practically every way imaginable.
