On Oct. 9, the Rt. Rev. Mary Gray-Reeves, acting in her role as presiding bishop-designate in Title IV matters involving bishops, issued a restriction on the ministry of the Rt. Rev. Marc Andrus, bishop resigned of the Episcopal Diocese of California, due to a credible allegation of an inappropriate relationship with an adult.  

Since that time, Bishop Gray-Reeves and others involved in our Title IV process have been working to solidify a network of pastoral care (Canon IV.8) and mental health support for the parties involved in this Title IV matter. Procedural updates on this matter will be posted with other current cases on our website. 

Restringen el ministerio de anterior obispo de California

El 9 de octubre, la Rvdma. Mary Gray-Reeves, actuando en su carácter de obispa presidente designada para asuntos del Título IV que afectan a los obispos, emitió una restricción al ministerio del Rvdmo. Marc Andrus, obispo que renunció a la Diócesis Episcopal de California debido a una acusación creíble de una relación inapropiada con un adulto. 

Desde entonces, la obispa Gray-Reeves y otras personas implicadas en nuestro proceso del Título IV han estado trabajando para solidificar una red de atención pastoral (Canon IV.8) y de apoyo de salud mental para las partes involucradas en este asunto del Título IV.
