The Episcopal Church is accepting applications for the position of Manager for Language Services, a member of the Presiding Bishop’s staff.

The Manager for Language Services oversees all aspects of translation and interpretation activities required by the Domestic & Foreign Missionary Society (DFMS), including items needed from the Presiding Bishop’s Office, General Convention Office, and other church bodies and staff.

Candidates for this position are expected to have proven experience and ability as a writer and editor in both Spanish and English.

At present, the official languages of the DFMS are English, Spanish and French. The manager is also responsible for overseeing translations in other languages and as the work requires, is expected to perform duties of translation and interpretation.
