Today on Thursdays at 2: Palm Sunday in NYC
On Thursday, April 13, Thursdays at 2 chronicles a solemn Palm Sunday procession through the streets of New York City.
On April 9 in observance of Palm Sunday, congregants from the Church of the Heavenly Rest processed to and from the church on Fifth Ave., wending through the high rises and cavernous streets of the Upper East Side. All the while, palms were waving and people stopped to speak to the procession.
