Episcopal Church Office of Communication offers live concert webcast from St. John’s, Lafayette Square, Washington DC
The Episcopal Church Office of Communication continues offering a live webcast of musical selections from the First Wednesdays At St. John’s Concerts series originating from St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square, in Washington, DC (Diocese of Washington). The next live concert is on Wednesday, February 2 and begins at 12:10 pm Eastern (11:10 am Central, 10:10 am Mountain, 9:10 am Pacific, 8:10 am Alaska, 7:10 am Hawaii).
The 35-minute concert is called “Musical Flowers,” featuring selections from Frescobaldi’s Fiori Musicali and Langlais’ Hommage a Frescobaldi. The music will be under the direction of Michael Lodico, Associate Choirmaster and Organist at St. John’s Lafayette Square.
The live webcast will be available on the home page of the Episcopal Church’s website, www.episcopalchurch.org and on the Episcopal Church Facebook page. The concert will also be available on-demand following the live performance.
