Jayne Oasin is Program Officer for Anti-Racism and Gender Equality of the Episcopal Church.  Prior to April, 2008, she was the Social Justice Officer.  She has been on the staff of the Episcopal Church Center for nine years.  Rev. Oasin is responsible for the implementation of programs and initiatives which respond to the Episcopal Church’s commitment to Anti-Racism and Gender Equality.

Prior to being at the Episcopal Church Center in New York City, Rev. Oasin held a number of positions in the non-profit and public sectors including the YWCA, Planned Parenthood, the Department of Juvenile Justice of the City of New York and Head Start. 

She received a Master of Divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School, Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Speech Pathology and a Certificate of Non-Profit Management from the Wharton School.

Rev. Oasin has been an adjunct professor in Non-Profit Management at Eastern University, St. David’s, PA, and at Baruch College in New York.  She is a contributor to two books, "Race and Prayer" and "Women’s Uncommon Prayers."
