Resolved, That during the triennium, the Executive Council develop and implement a process that will enable the Church to prepare for the dialogue to be held during the 76th General Convention.  Concurred at the 75th General Convention

The mission conversation that will take place at General Convention will be enabled by pre-convention synod meetings.

There are nine Episcopal church provinces (Canon I.9.1). Each province is composed of dioceses located in  “close” geographic region. All nine provinces of The Episcopal Church will hold a pre-General Convention synod meeting. The meetings will provide attendees with specific information about General Convention, a detailed review of the DRAFT 2010-2012 budget to be considered by General Convention and a pre-General Convention introduction to the process to be used at General Convention for a dialogue on the mission of the Church.

The provincial synod meetings welcome all participants. Click here to get a list of dates for the pre-General Convention synod meetings and the contact person for each province.
