Registration with CDO is a way of offering your gifts for ministry to the Church. Prayerfully reviewing your skills and ministry experience is a part of creating your Personal Profile. To help you in this process, see the Ministry Skill/Experience Manual. The information you submit to CDO will generate a Personal Profile that will be used for deployment purposes.

Once the Profile is created it will be accessible online to you, to bishops and deployment officers, and in hardcopy or electronic form to those authorized to receive profiles as a result of searches or special requests. Use of the Profile is regulated by CDO Policies and Procedures. Once registered with CDO, you will be able to access and update your profile online at http://cdo.dfms.org/ CDO will provide you with a User Name and password for online access. Upon request your Profile can be mailed to you.

Registrants can access and update their profiles online. These profiles can be accessed by bishops, deployment officers and CDO staff to conduct searches to connect your talents and experience with the responsibilities and skills sought by parishes and institutions. CDO use of the data is regulated by CDO Policies and Procedures.  CDO Registration gives you free access to the Positions Open Bulletin (POB) online.

If you need further help, please check our Frequently Asked Questions, contact your Diocesan Deployment Officer or request assistance from CDO Staff.
