Document Description: In The Episcopal Church's polity the resolutions of the General Convention govern the way we as a community of believers agree to live our understanding of the Christian faith. Executive Council, an elected body representing the whole Church in the course of the three years between convention (called a "triennium"), oversee and implement the ministry and mission of the Church.
