Diocesan Profile: Vigorous missionary work transformed English colonial starts into the Albany Diocese. From original Hudson Rivers forts to the borders of Quebec and Ontario the 20,000 square mile enterprise was the fruit of the labors of pioneers like Bishop Hobart, Father Nash and convinced clergy and laity.
