Posted: Saturday, June 17, 2006
The official report of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC), XIII, held in Nottingham, United Kingdom, last June, is now available in a bound volume.

Compiled by Canon James Rosenthal of the Anglican Communion Office of Communications and Susan Erdey from Church Publishing, Inc., New York, the 740-page reference book also tells the stories of those present from around the globe and includes the timely bible studies, in full, given by the Most Rev. Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, on the book of the Acts of the Apostles.

The book is entitled "Living Communion," which was the theme of the meeting.   Provincial lists and the complete texts of the ACC resolutions are included, as are a number of photos. The winning drawing of the Compass Rose, drawn by a child in the Diocese of West Malaysia, is on the back cover.

The reports of the special sessions on sexuality by the Episcopal Church (TEC) and the Anglican Church of Canada are also included.

The Rev. Canon Dr. Kenneth Kearon, secretary general of the Anglican Communion, said of the book and the meeting it covers, "ACC 13 affirmed for me the reality that the people of the Anglican Communion long for reconciliation both within and outside the family, so that the gospel may be proclaimed with clarity and purpose in our troubled world."

The book is available from Church Publishing, http://www.churchpublishing.org ; ISBN 0-89869-522-8, for $30.
